Matthew Albert Tyson – (Matt / Tys)
Matthew and his twin sister Sarah where born 12th August 1996.
He lived and grew up in our little Cumbrian village of Beckermet with his Mum & Dad – Pauline & Ian, elder brother Anthony & sister Lindsey.
Matthew was a kind, warm hearted little boy who always worked hard and tried his best and matured into kind, warm hearted, socialable, hardworking young man. Whenever Matthew was home there was always a house party organised with his many Young Farmer friends.
Matthews love of animals and the country directed him to his life as a Gamekeeper.
He studied Game Keeping at Newton Rigg College and was awarded Game Keeper of the Year in his final year of study. While at college he went to Glenogil Estate, Forfar for work experience then on completing his course went to a full time job at Horseupcleugh Estate, Lonformacus.
It has been said Matthew was born to be a Grouse Keeper as he was born on the Glorious Twelve.
Matthew was living his dream although far too short.
