Les Green
1954-2016
He was an incredible man of the countryside. He was a keeper for near on 40 years till 2016 when he died aged 62 as the keeper at Aldby Park, Buttercrambe. Even the week he died he was still managing to get out and take in the autumn season as he knew he wouldn't see it through. His love was to be outside doing his thing, enjoying his own company and his life was dedicated to providing good days throughout the year. The ground work he put in was immense to ensure the estate was just right, the environment and habit for his pheasants. He is solely missed by his comrades and most of all his wife, two daughters and grandchildren here in North Yorkshire, but his memory and legacy lives on.
